And You Thought I Forgot!

Animal-2 I am just loving this new set Animal Stories! I can make a great birthday card in no time!  As the sentiment on the card suggests, I am usually late with birthday cards to begin with so they need to be really quick and easy to make!

This card features the Tall Tales Designer Series Paper that goes with the Animal Stories stamp set. The patterns in this paper are great! Lots of fun and funky designs to choose from. I paired the paper with So Saffron and Old Olive card stock as these were the colors in the Designer Series paper.

The elephant was stamped with Close to Cocoa Classic Ink on Whisper White card stock. I sponged around the edges of the card stock using Close to Cocoa Classic Ink and a Sponge Dauber. I wanted to do something a little different with the sentiment so I placed it on top of the Old Olive Grosgrain. The cute little flower brad was the perfect finishing touch!

Stamps: Animal Stories (116716), A Little Birthday Cheer (115018)

Inks: Close to Cocoa Classic Ink (103139)

Card Stock: So Saffron (105118), Old Olive (100702), Close to Cocoa (101341), Whisper White (100730)

Razzle Dazzle Thank You Cards

RTY1

How fabulous does all this gorgeous ribbon look? As many of you know I have a bit of an obsession with ribbon, add polka dots to the ribbon and I love it even more! I just couldn't resist taking this picture of the bows lined up neatly. It makes me giddy just looking at it! lol

RTY2Are you wondering what all that gorgeous ribbon is attached to? I needed some thank you cards for all my customers who placed an order with me for my cruise sale last week. I wanted to use the brand new In Colors and one of the new stamp sets. I settled on Razzle Dazzle.

I was able to make 24 cards with matching envelopes in less than 2 hours! The design is Rtymmvery simple, only two pieces of card stock, one color of Classic Ink and a piece of ribbon. I stamped the greeting first and then stamped the flowers around the edges. I did use my Stamp-a-ma-jig just to make sure I wasn't stamping over the images I had already stamped. I then tied a piece of the polka dot grosgrain ribbon to the side of each card.

I am just thrilled with how they turned out. Now I just need to get writing in them before all the orders arrive!

Stamps: Razzle Dazzle (116714), Thank You Kindly (111700)

Inks: Rich Razzleberry Classic Ink (115658), Melon Mambo Classic Ink (115656), Crushed Rtybb Curry Classic Ink (115659), Dusty Durango Classic Ink (115654), Bermuda Bay Classic Ink (115655), Soft Suede Classic Ink (115657)

Card Stock: Rich Razzleberry (115316), Melon Mambo (115320), Crushed Curry (115319), Dusty Durango (115321), Bermuda Bay (115317), Soft Suede (115318), Whisper White (100730)

Accessories: Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon in Rich Razzleberry (115613), Melon Mambo (115611), Crushed Curry (115614), Dusty Durango (115609), Bermuda Bay (115610), and Soft Suede (115612), Whisper White Envelopes (107301), Stamp-a-ma-jig (101049)

Thanks

A Little Razzle Dazzle in Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango!

Razzle-1This is one of the cards that we made at my Sneak Peek class last week. It features the brand new Razzle Dazzle stamp set and the new In Colors, Crushed Curry and Dusty Durango.

I think Razzle Dazzle is going to quickly become one of those go to sets for quick cards. For this card I stamped the main image with Crushed Curry Classic Ink onto Whisper White card stock. I also stamped it on the Crushed Curry card stock to create the background.

I used a small piece of Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper along the left side of the card. I finished off the card with a bit of Dusty Durango Polka Dot Grosgrain. The sentiment comes from a fantastic new stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes! I am so in love with stamp set! The greetings all fit in our fantastic new Modern Label Punch, our Word Window Punch and most of the Oval Punches! With 24 stamps in the set you are pretty much so covered for all of your upcoming occasions!

I have a few more Razzle Dazzle cards to share with you tomorrow.

Circle Circus Meets Rich Razzleberry and Soft Suede!

Circle2 Have I mentioned yet how much I am loving these new In Colors? The work so well together and with Stampin' Up!'s main color families. I created this fun card using Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede and Pale Plum. What a great color combination!

I stamped a number of circles using the fantastic  Circle Circus set. The great thing about this set is that all the circles in this set is they work perfectly with all of Stampin' Up!'s Circle Punches! You can create a fantastic card in no time flat using scraps of card stock.

I used Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede and Pale Plum Classic Ink on Whisper White card stock. The sentiment comes from the set Think Happy Thoughts, another set that works great with circle punches! For card stock I used Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Paler Plum and Whisper White. I finished off the card with a little Soft Suede Polka Dot Ribbon and a few dots done with the white gel pen.

MFT Sketches

Mft-urban

I have two MFT sketch cards to share with you today. This weeks MFTSC88 sketch was designed by Frances. My card uses a very cute new set that I just received from MFT, Rainy Day Friends. While I think this young girl is very cute, my favorite thing about this set are the sentiments! Which is kinda funny considering that I didn't use one on the front of this card. lol

I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on MFT's Perfect Paper Panels. If you haven't tried this paper for coloring with Copics, you don't know what you are missing! It is the BEST! Parts of the image were then colored with Copics. I sponged a little Apricot Appeal Classic Ink around the edges of the card stock.

The rest of the images were stamped again on Basic Grey's Urban Prairie Paper. The brads are also from the Urban Prairie line. The card stock is Regal Rose from Stampin' Up!.

MFT-Ambrosia My life was a little crazy last week and I didn't have time to participate in the MFTSC87 sketch. I didn't want to miss out on Cindy's great sketch  so I stamped this cute little Flopsey a week late. I Need Coffee with Flopsey is one of the newest additions to the Flopsey line at MFT.

The color scheme for this card came directly from Basic Grey's Ambrosia line. The color combinations and paper designs are just fabulous in this line! Flopsey was once again stamped on MFT's Perfect Paper Panels with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored him with Copics and then I used a little Liquid Applique for his slippers. The yummy ribbon that worked just perfectly with the Ambrosia collection is from May Arts. The brads are all from Basic Grey's Ambrosia line.

Don't forget that I will be posting this month's MFT Ambassador Challenge on Saturday morning! Take part in the MFT Ambassador Challenge and you could win $15.00 in MFT Stamping Bucks! My Favorite Things is turning three this month, so be on the look out for some great deals all month long!

S'mores are grrreat!!!!!!

Smores-1

Over the past few weekends I have been participating in a Farmers Market out in Millarville, AB. This is a fantastic market that attracts thousands of people every week. I have been doing the market with one of my Kreative Jewels Team members, Sherry King. I thought I would show you one of the cute little treat packs that we have been selling.

I made this cute little tote to carry enough marshmallows, chocolate and graham crackers for 8 S'mores. Aren't they cute?  I was very happy with how they turned out! I stamped the images from Under The Stars, on MFT's Perfect Paper Panels with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and I colored them with Copics. I also used Real Red and Basic Black card stock from Stampin' Up! The yummy plaid ribbon is from MFT's Perfect Plaid Ribbon. This ribbon is so wide! I just love it!!!

Here is a picture of them all lined up ready to be filled!

Razzleberry Animal Stories

Animal-1With all the excitement over release of the New Idea Book & Catalog I haven't had a chance to stamp in well over a week! Yikes, that never happens! Not to worry, I have lots of cards here that you haven't seen yet! Today's card is actually from my recent Control Freaks swap. While I love swapping with these talented ladies I definitely feel the pressure to measure up to their talent!

This card is absolutely full of some of my favorite new things from the new catalog! I am loving these new In Colors! Here I used Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, and Melon Mambo card stock and Polka Dot Ribbon! The Designer Series Paper is Razzleberry Lemonade. I also used our Fire and Ice Rhinestone Circle Brads. I didn't want the silver part of the brad so I just popped the rhinestones out. To pop out five rhinestones from the brad isn't really a big deal, but I had to pop out 120 rhinestones for all of the cards I made! Did I mention that I love these Freaky Ladies? lol
