I have two fun cards to share with you today featuring the fabulous new B.C.Dzyns set Day Dreamer.
We have been in a deep freeze here in Calgary for the last few days, wanting to be warm and cozy was obviously on my mind when I created this card! She has visions of warm bunny slippers, a cozy robe and a wonderful hot bath! Sounds like a fabulous night to me!
The main image was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and it was colored with Copics. All papers came from the Eva collection from Basic Grey, the only exception is the Kiwi Kiss cardstock and the Papertrey White cardstock. Ribbons are from Stampin' Up! and May Arts. The brad is from the Eva collection and the pearls are from Stampin' Up!'s Pretties Kit. I also used the Spots & Dots cuttlebug folder and nestabilites. The bunny slippers have a light layer of Opal Shimmerz painted on them and the bath tub has a thick layer of Crystal Effects coating it. I finished off the card with a little faux stitching done with a white gel pen.
In addition to Day Dreamer I also used Bunny Slippers and Chill Out stamp sets from My Favorite Things. My next card was inspired by the paper in the Basic Grey Collection Pheobe. This is an older collection that I haven't used in awhile. I love the colors and whimsical feel to it. I thought it was just perfect for this young lady as she sat thinking about her love.
Once again I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Papertrey White cardstock, the image was colored Copics. All the paper comes from the Pheobe Collection. The cardstock is Basic Black, Regal Rose and Chocolate Chip from Stampin' Up! I also used my nestabilities on this one.
I really had fun with the embellishments on this one! The paper ribbon, the rhinestones and the Rhinestone hearts are all from K&Company's Smitten Collection. I added one of the hearts to the Chocolate Chip envelope for that finishing touch!
