If you follow my blog at all you know that I love black and white cards. There is something about the simplicity and elegance of that color combination that just makes me happy! So once again I am using Black and White. Although, this time I did add in a splash of red.
If I could only buy one set with a heart in it from Stampin' Up! I would buy the Always stamp set. I absolutely love the heart in this stamp set! For this card I have embossed the heartin Black on Whisper White Cardstock. It is so striking!
I made the heart pocket using a template that I found on SCS under the Technique Lovers Challenges.
I stamped the background of the card with Baroque Motifs in Basic Black Classic Ink. For cardstock I used Real Red, Basic Black and Whisper White. The ribbon is from Stampin' Up! in Real Red Wide Grosgrain and Basic Black Grosgrain. I also used a few circle punches and the scallop circle punch.
I think this is a great Valentine's Card! Not to cutesy or girlie. Now I just need to find a man to give it to! lol
