Over the next few days I will be showing you some of the cards we made at my recent Black and White Class. I have done three or four of these classes over the last two years and they are always a HUGE hit. We hadn't even finished this class when some of the ladies started asking when the next one would be! lol I am thrilled to announce that I will now be holding a Black and White class every quarter! Our next Black and White Class will be the end of May. There will be two dates available Tuesday May 26th at 6:30pm or Wednesday 27th at 6:30pm. These classes will fill up quickly so don't delay register today!
Don't you just love the simplicity of this card? It was a very quick and easy card to make but the results are gorgeous!
If you click on the picture you will get a better view of the fabulous new cardstock from Stampin' Up!'s Taste of Textiles pack! You have to see this cardstock in person to know just how amazing it is! I paired it with Basic Black Cardstock. The main image comes from Bloomin' Beautiful. I stamped it in Versamark and then embossed it with Basic Black Embossing powder. When working with this paper it is crucial to use the Embossing Buddy before you stamp and emboss your image.
I really didn't want to add a lot to the cardas I didn't want to take away from the beautiful texture in the cardstock. I added a bit of Basic Black velvet ribbon from the Valet Ribbon Originals. I also used the new Eyelet Border Punch to add a bit of interest.
I'll have another Black and White card for you in the morning. Don't forget to register for the next set of Black and White classes in May.
