I have two MFT sketch cards to share with you today. This weeks MFTSC88 sketch was designed by Frances. My card uses a very cute new set that I just received from MFT, Rainy Day Friends. While I think this young girl is very cute, my favorite thing about this set are the sentiments! Which is kinda funny considering that I didn't use one on the front of this card. lol
I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on MFT's Perfect Paper Panels. If you haven't tried this paper for coloring with Copics, you don't know what you are missing! It is the BEST! Parts of the image were then colored with Copics. I sponged a little Apricot Appeal Classic Ink around the edges of the card stock.
The rest of the images were stamped again on Basic Grey's Urban Prairie Paper. The brads are also from the Urban Prairie line. The card stock is Regal Rose from Stampin' Up!.
My life was a little crazy last week and I didn't have time to participate in the MFTSC87 sketch. I didn't want to miss out on Cindy's great sketch so I stamped this cute little Flopsey a week late. I Need Coffee with Flopsey is one of the newest additions to the Flopsey line at MFT.
The color scheme for this card came directly from Basic Grey's Ambrosia line. The color combinations and paper designs are just fabulous in this line! Flopsey was once again stamped on MFT's Perfect Paper Panels with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored him with Copics and then I used a little Liquid Applique for his slippers. The yummy ribbon that worked just perfectly with the Ambrosia collection is from May Arts. The brads are all from Basic Grey's Ambrosia line.
Don't forget that I will be posting this month's MFT Ambassador Challenge on Saturday morning! Take part in the MFT Ambassador Challenge and you could win $15.00 in MFT Stamping Bucks! My Favorite Things is turning three this month, so be on the look out for some great deals all month long!
