I just have to say that we have way too much snow here in Calgary today! Seriously, it is only mid October!!! All this snow made me think of one of the cards I created for my upcoming October Christmas Card Classes. This card was inspired by a number of cards that I saw on SCS, including one by Michelle Zindorf.
This card is all about the ink! Lots of masking, sponging and stamping. I started off making the snow banks and stamping the trees. Once I had these in place I stamped the snowboarder. I then sponged in the sky using Bashful Blue and Brocade Blue ink. I made sure to leave some white space around the boarder.
I'm really happy with how this card turned out and I think my customers are really going to enjoy learning how to make it. If you are in the Calgary area and are interested in attending my October Christmas Card classes the dates are as follows.
Saturday October 24 - SOLD OUT
Monday October 26 - SOLD OUT
