As you may have heard already, Kim, from MFT asked some of her MFT Junkies to be a part of her December Temp Design Team. I was thrilled to be asked to be a part of this fun event. Be sure to check out Kim's Blog Saturday morning at 11:00am EST. She will have a run down of all the fabulous designers participating in today's teasers. Trust me when I tell you that you won't want to miss a single post. This new stamp set is soooo much fun and the designers are all fabulous! I know everyone has some great projects lined up for you.
For my first card today I went for a Pink, Brown and White theme, with a little bit of bling. I stamped the adorable puppy image from Love At First Sight on a Perfect Paper Panel using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I then colored the image with Copics. I lightly sponged around the edge of the oval with a little Pink Pirouette Classic Ink.
For card stock I used Regal Rose, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. The yummy patterned paper is from MFT's Chocolate Kiss Collection. I adore this paper, I think I have already gone through 4 whole packs of it. Is it any wonder that I'm considered a MFT Junkie? LOL
I added lots of details and bling to this card. I did a little paper piercing along the White card stock. The Sugared Brads on the scalloped oval are all from Doodlebug Designs. The smaller Heart Sugared Brads are from Making Memories and the gorgeous Polka Dot Ribbon is from May Arts.
I finished off the inside of the card with a little more Chocolate Kiss paper and May Arts ribbon. The sentiments are also from Love at First Sight.
I've mentioned before that I am in full Christmas mode, hopefully that is all that is needed to explain my next card! I decided the yummy box of truffles would make a wonderful Christmas tree! Yes, I am slightly insane!
I stamped the heart truffle box on an Eclipse masking panel five times. I cut them all out and used them to mask the image as I created the tree. The truffle box actually comes in two sizes and the smaller size was just the perfect fit for the top pf my tree. The images were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a Perfect Paper Panel, then I colored them with Copics.
The card stock is from Doodlebug Designs, it's Candy Apple and Lemon Lime. The fun pattern paper is from the Peppermint Kiss glitter collection from K & Company. The sentiment on the front of the card is a Grand Adhesion from the same Peppermint Twist Collection. For my bling I used some of the Spring Swarovski Crystals from MFT.
For the inside of the card the fun sentiment from MFT's Santa Baby stamp set was the perfect fit!
I hope you enjoyed my MFT teasers today. I'll have a few more for you tomorrow. Be sure to check out Kim's blog after 11:00am EST, for the rest of the teasers.
