Have you recovered from all the sweet MFT teasers from yesterday? That Pure Innocence line is just adorable! Today, I have something equally as wonderful to share with you. Bling Bet has a new mate, Bling 'Bers! This fantastic new set is the perfect partner for Bling Bet, MFT's very popular alphabet set. I don't know about you, but I must have the coordinating number set for all my alphabet stamps!
Head on over to Kim's blog today any time after 11:00am EST, she will have the full list of MFT Design Team Members that are participating in the teasers for today. Trust me when I tell you, there is some incredible eye candy today!
My first project today is a lotto ticket folder. I hardly ever play the weekly lotto, but the rest of my family all does. My dad actually has a really old, ugly, plastic, green checkbook cover that he keeps his lotto tickets in. It's oh so stylish! lol I thought I would make something with a little more bling!
I picked this kinda wild paper from We are Memory Keepers, because it reminded me of the lotto balls all bumping around before the numbers get pulled. I stamped the numbers on some coordinating card stock using Versamark ink. I then embossed them with Silver embossing powder. I added some Stickles to the dots on each of the numbers.
The fun saying also comes with the Bling 'Bers stamp set. You will find a lot more than just numbers in this versatile stamp set! I added a few Glittered Garnishes to the front of the folder and then finished it off with a ribbon closure. The inside of the folder has pockets for you winning lotto tickets and the lotto forms.
My next project is a child's birthday card. It's not really my normal style, but I wanted something bright and fun. I used the Movers and Shapers die with the Big Shot to cut the star out of the front of the card. The star with the number is actually on the inside of the card. It looks cool, but it's hard to get a decent picture of it!
I used MFT's Red Hot and Sour Apple card stock for the card. They coordinated perfectly with the patterned paper from K & Company. The Number Collage Cuttlebug folder added some extra dimension to the card. I added some fun Swarovski Crystals from the Spring Collection to give it a little bling!
The bright green ribbon is from Bo Bunny and the corduroy button is from SU! The fun sentiments on the card are both from the Bling 'Bers stamp set.
