It's time for another day of MFT Teasers! Today is a big day that you get your first peek at the new Pure Innocence stamp sets! MFT is releasing five new Pure Innocence Sets on January 6th! Each new set is just as adorable as the next one! You will want to check out Kim's blog after 11:00am EST this morning to see a full list of all the MFT Design Team members that will be posting teasers today. The ladies have some amazing projects in store for you.
I really couldn't decide which set to use for today's post so I made a couple of projects using a few of the sets. I didn't think you would mind!
My first project is a scrapbook page. You probably know that I don't make many scrapbook pages, but when I do I go all out! I really don't know what image is cuter, my adorable puppy Duke, or the new Boy & Dog - Snow Adorable!I think I will call it a tie!
The large frame and snowflake are both chipboard that I covered with Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! I sponged around the edges of the chipboard with coordinating ink. I stamped a sentiment from the new Boy & Dog - Snow Adorable stamp set. It was the perfect
The cute little boy and his dog were stamped on a Perfect Paper Panel, his face was colored with Copics. His clothes were all paper pieced. I added the fun pom pom to make it an authentic toque. I added a very thing line of glitter to the outside of the snowflake for a little added shimmer.
Once again I stamped the image on a Perfect Paper Panel using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored parts of the image with Copics, the rest was paper pieced with paper from K & Company's textured Small Wonders Boy collection. I added a thick layer of Diamond Glaze over her boots. Wouldn't you love to have a fun pair of bright green wellies?
The umbrella was stamped twice. The second image was curled slightly around the edges and then added with dimensionals on top of the first image. I added a few fun daisy's from K & Company to finish off the card.
I hope you are still hanging in there as I have one final set of projects to show you today. My Basket of Eggs is another one of the adorable new sets available on January 6. I am just in love with her cute little face!
I wanted the basket to really pop so I stamped it on an extra Perfect Paper Panel and I cut it and her arms out separately. I paper pieced her dress, and when I glued it down, I didn't glue down the sleeves. I then slid the extra set of arms under the sleeves and the basket landed in place.
I colored the basket with Copics and then added some Stickles to the eggs for that added bit of sparkle. Her darling Mary Jane shoes were given a coating of Diamond Glaze. I think they look like purple patent leather, and really, every girl should have a pair of purple shoes for Easter!
I used Basic Grey's Eva Collection for all the patterned paper. The Epoxy brads are also from the Eva Collection. I finished off the card with some May Arts ribbon and some Glittered Garnishes from the Chocolate Kiss Collection.
My candy jar is full of chocolate MM's, truly my favorite candy! It was filled and emptied more than once during the process of making this set! lol Yes, I am serious! The Square Jars are available from MFT and they are the perfect sized container for giving someone a little candy treat!
If you are still reading thanks for hanging in with me! I am so excited about this collection, I have even more to show you with it, but I'll wait until the Release Party!
