It's Saturday and time for another Create with Connie & Julie Challenge. This weeks challenge is a Color Combination. Pumpkin Pie, Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Crushed Curry! I know it's a lot of colors all at once but it should be fairly easy with the new Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper.
You will notice that I said it should be easy! LOL I had one tough time with this card and I must admit that I am not thrilled with how it turned out! Oh well, I guess you can't love them all and I really don't love this one!
There is actually very little stamping on this card. I actually cut the houses out from the Good Neighbor Designer Series Paper. The houses were mounted on a quilted circle made up of 3/4" squares.
The only stamping on the card is the sentiment from the Warm Words stamp set.
I finished off the card with some Melon Mambo Polka Dot Ribbon and a couple of Corduroy Brads. I added some White dots with a gel pen to make the main circle pop a bit more.
