For this weeks Create with Connie and Julie Challenge we are going to focus on Easter cards! It may seem early to some of you, but Easter will be here before you know it!
My card for today has very little stamping on it! Instead of stamping I used a bunch of the goodies in the Eggcellent Eggs Kit. These kits are full of all sorts of goodies that can be used on cards!
I started out by stamping the sentiment from the Well Scripted stamp set on to Whisper White card stock. I punched it out using the Wide Oval punch. I layered it with a larger Almost Amethyst, oval that I cut with the Ovals die and the Big Shot. I added a number of small White Rub Ons to the oval. I added some cute Polka Dot die cut flowers that come in the Eggcellent Eggs kit. They all layer nicely on top of each other and I finished them off with a So Saffron brad. I added a few more Rub Ons to the Pretty in Pink Striped paper from the Welcome Neighbor Designer Series Paper pack.
I then stamped the cute scallop border using the stamp from the Eggcoutrements stamp set. I added some Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon and some Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon. I finished off the bow with a Pretty in Pink Epoxy Brad. I used the same supplies for the inside of the card.
