It's here, it's here, Release Day is finally here! I hope you are all as excited as I am about this month's big release from MFT! There are so many great things coming out this month! My first card today features the new Who's That Girl set, Lovin' From the Oven and the new Clearly Sentimental About Food set. These two sets work so well together! I have paired them with Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry paper. I added some Cream Royalty Ribbon and a Nook & Pantry button.
My next card is an attempt at a masculine Valentine card! Like many of you, masculine cards are not my strong point, but I am really happy with how this one turned out. I stamped the image from Boho Blossoms on to Kraft card stock using a red craft ink. I then embossed the heart with clear embossing powder. I puffed up the heart using the technique I showed you the other day using a stylus and some cotton. The heart really pops off the page!
The fabulous sentiment from Clearly Sentimental About You, was stamped on a Kraft flag. I really wanted to use the Perfect Plaid ribbon on my card but the white was just too bright, so I colored it with a Copic marker. The softer beige color works perfectly with the rest of the card. I added lots of those masculine brads and a Chocolate Kiss button to finish it off.
I have one last card for you today using the new Clearly Sentimental About You stamp set.
I hope you are all loving the new Clearly Sentimental stamp line as much as I am! I never seem to have as many sentiment stamps as I would like and this new line is really filling the void!
I thought this would be a bright, fun card to give to your kids or your spouse. It's a mini envelope bursting with love! I stamped a number of the sentiments from the set on pieces of My Mind's Eye, Love Me Do Paper. I attached a piece of XOXO ribbon along with a small heart that I punched out from the paper.
I really wanted to use some of the Yellow Perfect Plaid ribbon. I think I have gone through three sets of all the other colors but I had yet to use any of the yellow! It worked perfectly with the papers on this card. The large button is from the Summer Collection.
