It's time for another fabulous MFT Pure InnocenceTeaser Day. I know I don't have to tell any of you have sweet these Pure Innocence stamps are, you all love them as much as I do! This month MFT is releasing three fabulous new Pure Innocence stamp sets, Beach Bum, Lather, Rinse, Repeat and Best Medicine. Head on over to Kim's Blog to see the full list of designers participating in todays release. I know there will be tons of amazing eye candy for you to enjoy!
My first card today features Lather, Rinse, Repeat. I just adore this set! I am definitely a bath girl so this image has quickly become one of my favorites in the Pure Innocence line.
I stamped the image on a Perfect Paper Panel. I colored her face and arm with Copics, the rest of the image was paper pieced with prints from the Basic Grey Kioshi collection. I added a thin layer of glaze to her shower cap and I added some shading to the tub. I used some of the fabulous Glitzy Glitter for the bubbles. To get really good coverage for the bubbles I stamped the bubbles on a White Perfect Paper Panel. I covered the image with a sheet of Scor Pal tape, I carefully cut around the image and then added the Glitzy Glitter.
I decided the little bath tub really needed a fun, fuzzy bath mat. I cut out an oval using a Nestability die and a piece of Kioshi paper. I used some Basic Grey fibers to wrap around the oval. I just love the way the bath mat turned out!
I picked the card stock based on the colors in the Kioshi paper. I used Certainly Celery, Orchid Opulence and So Saffron. I finished off the card with a few Basic Grey brads and some stitching.
My next card features the super cute new Beach Bum set. How sweet is that little belly? I stamped the image on a White Perfect Paper Panel and I colored the image with Copics. Her suit was paper pieced with some paper from the October Afternoon collections Fly a Kite and Thrift Shop. I paper pieced the shovel and the pail, and then I added a thin layer of glaze to both.
I used some fairly bright card stock and embellishments on this card. The card stock is Pixie Pink and Tempting Turquoise. The pink button is from the Summer Collection and the polka dot ribbon is from the Polka Dot Perfection Collection. I finished off the card with some paper piercing and some Basic Grey buttons.
Don't forget to get your project entered into this month's MFT Guest Designer Contest. You could win all the brand new stamps for the next release and you will have the chance to join the MFT Design Team for the June release. It's a fantastic opportunity that you don't want to miss!
