I am loving this weeks MFTWSC sketch! It is just gorgeous and it gave me the chance to ink up the adorable Claire Keay set, Just Bee Yourself. I just love this image!
I stamped it on a piece of X-Press Blending card stock and I colored it with Copics. I added some dazzling Diamonds glitter to the wings for that extra bit of sparkle!
I used Hot Fudge card stock along with some prints from My Mind's Eye Stella Rose, Hattie collection. I love the rich, dark colors in this collection!
Of course I had to use a few Die-namics dies! I created the flower using the amazing new Die-namics Upsy Daisy Flower Builder die. There are two reasons that I love this die. First, I love the shape and style of the flower. Second, I am so excited to have a larger leaf die to use with all the other flower dies! I love these larger leaves!
I also used the Die-namics Textile Rectangle die for the sentiment on the front of the card. The Die-namics Sweet Stack die was used for the sentiments on the inside.
Here are the details for the weekly MFTWSC challenge. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along.
