MFT Teasers Day Three!

It's day three of MFT Teasers and you all know what that means, it's Pure Innocence Day!!! This month we have five amazing new Pure Innocence sets to share with you. You are going to love and want every single one!

First up I have the new PI Fresh From the Oven. How adorable is she with her chef's hat and apron? I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics.

I went for some really bright colors on this card. The colors were inspired by the fun paper from Doodlebug Designs. The card stock is also from Doodlebug Designs. I finished off the card with some Doodlebug Designs brads and some MFT Perfect Plaid ribbon.

You all know by now that I can't create a card without using a Die-namics die, so it should be no surprise that I used one here too! I used the Die-namics Open Scallop Doily die for the sentiments on the front and the inside of the card.

My second card features the new PI, Pucker Up. ACK!!! She is so stinkin' adorable!

I stamped her on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored her with Copics. Since I already had the Doodlbug papers and card stock out I decided to continue on with the bright colors!

I used the fabulous Die-namics High Tea Party Doily die and the Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels die on the front of the card. For the sentiment on the inside of the card I used the fabulous new Well Worn Greetings Die-namics dies. I finished off the card with some Pink Sorbet Twine.

MFT Teasers Day Two!

 It's day two of the MFT Teasers and we have three more fantastic sets to share with you today! First up I have a card created with the new Jolinne Perfect Harmony set. How cute is that little bunny? I loved it so much that I had to add two of them to the card!

I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It  card stock and I colored it with Copics. I used some yummy papers from October Afternoon along with Pacific Point, More Mustard and Blu Raspberry.

I used the Simply Scallops Medium Die-namics die along with the Die-namics Musical Notes die. i used the new Well Worn Die-namics die for the sentiments. I finished off the card with some MFT Caribbean Teal Twine.

My next card features the new Clearly Sentimental About Successstamp set. This set is full of so many fabulous sentiments! it's perfect for so many different occasions.

I stamped the sentiment on a piece of paper from the Bo Bunny Timepiece collection. I used the fabulous new Well Worn Greetings Die-namics die. I LOVE this new die set! I used Fossil and Bravo Burgundy card stock. I finished off the card with some lace, some Prima flowers and flourishes.

PPC13 - Scoring Challenge

It's time for another Playing in Paradise Challenge! This week Dana has a fun scoring challenge for us! Scoring is a fabulous way to add interest and dimension to your card without adding embellishments.

I have a Scor Pal that I adore! It's the older model, but it still works well for me. I placed my card stock on the diagonal along one of the groves on the Scor Pal. I used the scoring tool and I scored the card stock at every 1/2". I then turned the card stock 1/4 of the way to the left and I again scored at every 1/2". This created a diamond pattern. So simple to do!

I used MFT's fabulous Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels dies for the sentiment. The sentiment comes from MFT's Happy Thoughts stamp set. The card stock is Red Hot and Barely Banana textured. The patterned paper is from Basic Grey's Hello Luscious collection. The brads are from Basic Grey's Life of the Party collection.

MFT Teasers Day One

 

It's MFT Teaser Time! For the next five days we will be sharing MFT's newest stamp sets and Die-namics! This month MFT is going to knock your socks off with their fabulous new sets!

I'm previewing two of the fabulous new sets today. Frist up I have the newest Fred Bear set, Fred Bear Plays Indian. How cute is Fred?

I stamped Fred on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored him with Copics. I created the trees using MFT's Die-namics Sheltering Tree & Leaf Trio die. i also used the Die-namics Upsy Daisy Flower Builder die.  I love the larger leaves in this die! Of course I had to add a little grass with the Die-namics Fresh Cut Grass die.

For the sentiments I used the fabulous new Die-namics Say What dies. These dies are so much fun! I used Red Hot, Orange Fizz, Old Olive and Hot Fudge for card stock. The patterned paper is all from October Afternoon.

Where I live in Alberta, there is a large Native population. We are so fortunate to see many of their gorgeous beaded creations in stores and each year during the Calgary Stampede. I decided to add a few rows of bright seed beads to brighten up the card and to tie into Native culture. Of course I have no idea how they stitch the beads! I just used some Scor Tape and a bit of Modge Podge to adhere mine to the card!

Up next, I have a fun card created with Flapper Doodles SS Flapper stamp set! Loving these stylish ladies! Again, I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored them with Copics.

I added some MFT Red Twine to make the circle look a bit more nautical. Of course I had to use MFT's Die-namics Catch a Wave die! I added a bit of texture to the waves with a Cuttlebug folder.

For card stock I used Red Hot and Berrylicious. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon. I finished off the card with some Basic Grey brads. I used the Die-namics Sweet Stack Label Dies for the sentiment on the inside of the card.

MFTWSC17 - Flapper Doodles

 Are you ready for week 17 of MFT's WSC? We have a fabulous sketch for you this week. This sketch was the perfect fit for the newest Flapper Doodles set, Hold Me Tight. This could definitely be my mum and I, the only catch is that I would be the taller one! LOL Yes, my mum is a shortie!

I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics. I used some Red Hot, Black Licorice and Sno Cone card stock. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon.

One of the weird things about me is that I love things to match, this includes the shapes of flowers. yes, I know, I'm a bit weird! I love that the shape of the flowers on the paper matches the shape on the Die-namics Flower Border die and the Die-namics Pretty Posies die. I can't be the only one that loves such things!

I finished off the card with some black Baby Braddies and some Charcoal Twine. I used the Die-namics Textile Rectangle die for the sentiment on the front of the card. On the inside I used the Die-namics Polka Dot Greeting die.

 

Here are the details for the weekly MFTWSC challenge. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation.  You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish.  Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch.  All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process.  After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher.  If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!  That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along.

TCP 155 Challenge - Oops, Not Quite!

 So, the other week I had one of those insane weeks at work, I worked a ridiculous amount of hours and that resulted in no stampin' time! I missed out on last weeks TCP challenge so I was determined not to miss out on this weeks challenge. I love doing these longer cards so I was excited to see Leigh's sketch. I usually print off the sketches but I didn't this week. When I show you my card you will know why I NEED to print off the sketches! LOL

I had a pile of fabulous new TCP stamps sitting here that I have been dying to use! I inked up the new Catch My Drift set. Isn't he just the cutest thing? I wanted to make the balloons bouquet extra large. I think I accomplished that! I also wanted to try to use up some of my scraps of designer paper that I have a LARGE stash of. Check! I accomplished that too!

Now for the part I failed miserably on! The sketch! LOL It's a long a skinny card but other than that it has absolutely no resemblance to the sketch! I got carried away stamping and never went back to check the sketch! See, this is why I need to print them out! LOL I did manage to get the three brads in there! Just not in the right place!LOL

Oh well, he still turned out super cute! Hopefully, I will have time to play again this week! I really love that sketch and it would be nice to actually USE IT!

 

 

 

PPC12 - A Sketch Challenge!

 For this weeks Playing in Paradise Challenge, Allison has a fabulous sketch for us. I decided to create a fun boys card with almost no stamping!

 I purchased some of the Bo Bunny Blast Off 6x6 paper, I loved the prints in this pack so much that I had to buy some of the matching Bo Bunny Blast Off Chipboard to go with it!

I added a tiny bit of glaze to all the eyes just to make them pop! I did stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card. I also used MFT's fabulous Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels dies.

MFTWSC16 - Crazy for Daisies

Can you believe we are already on week 16 of the weekly sketches? Wow, time is flying by! We have a fabulous sketch for you this week.

I decided to ink up the adorable PI set Crazy for Daisies. This is the newest set in the Pure Innocence monthly flower set series. I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics.

I used Black Licorice, Red Hot and Kiwi Kiss for card stock. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon. I finished off the card with some stripped twill and some Charcoal twine. I used the Die-namics Layered Label die for the sentiment on the inside of the card.

Now it's time to share my card with you! The new WTG set, Girl's Rule is fabulous! I love all the sentiments and of course the image is fantastic! I just love how care free she looks. I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored her with Copics. I paper pieced her dress with a print from Cosmo Cricket.

I uesd Night of Navy, Kiwi Kiss and Berrylicious card stock. The patterned paper is all from Cosmo Cricket. I added a few Prima resin flowers as my embellishments.

à la modes - Grad Girl

 

It's time for MFT's mid month teasers! MFT has two fabulous new à la modes stamp sets for you and an amazing VIP package! Today we are sharing the new à la modes Grad Girl set.

I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored the image with Copics. I cut the image out and placed it on a print from Bo Bunny.

Did you notice the gorgeous Die-namics High Tea Doily? Oh how I love this die! I layered it with a nestabilities oval die. I really like the way the oval looks on the High Tea Doily.

I used the Die-namics Dizzy Border die along with some crochet trim. I added the rosette behind the sentiment to give it an extra bit of pizzaz! I used the Die-namics 1/4" Rosette die and a Martha Stewart punch to create the rosette.

 

I used the Die-namics Textile Rectangle die on the inside of the card.

The new stamp sets and the VIP package will be available on April 19th, at 10 PM EST.
