This months Creative Challenge came from Eva and Arlene. They challenged us to a hot new technique, that seems a little scary, but is actually a lot of fun. Monochromatic coloring!
We were all a little nervous about this one, but I think we all created some fabulous cards. Most of the ladies went for a neutral color scheme, but you know me, I hat to do things a little different! LOL I went for Pink!
I wasn't too sure how the pink hair and skin would look but it's actually not as shocking as I thought it would be! I inked up the new Pure Innocence Graduation Girl stamp. I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored the image with a few pink Copics markers.
I used Pink Lemonade and Regal Rose for card stock. The ribbon is from Stampin' Up! and May Arts. I also used a couple of Die-namics dies. I used the Die-namics Dainty Lace Border die on the front of the card. On the inside of the card I layered two different Die-namics the Die-namics Frames Greetings die and the Die-namics Well Worn Greetings die. I love the way these two dies work together!
Be sure to check out Kim's Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team came up with! The ladies were really challenged on this one and they all rose to the occasion! Their cards are all gorgeous!
