MFT Teasers - Day Four!

 
  It's day four of the MFT teasers! Today we have a few more fabulous sets to share with you. Today, I am previewing the new Tag You're It stamp set and Die-namics die. I am seriously in love with this new tag die! It is so big! It is the perfect size to stamp one of our cute little PI's on.

For my first tag, I paired the new Tag You're It tag with the 1/4" Rosette die, the Die-namics First Place Ribbon Award die and the Die-namics Sweet Stack Labels die. I stamped the sentiment on a Cream Perfect Paper Panel. I used Fossil, Red Hot and Berrylicious card stock. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon. I stitched around the tag with some twine and added a bit of May Arts ribbon to finish it off.

 My next tag features a few of the new Die-namics dies. I paired the new Die-namics Fancy Flourish die with the Butterflies Die-namics die. The sentiment was stamped on a Cream Perfect Paper Panel that was cut with the Die-namics Bracket Tab die. The card stock is Red Hot and the patterned paper is from October Afternoon.  I finished off the tag with a little bling, some seam binding and some twine.

 My final tag for today consists of three layers. I cut one layer in Berrylicious, one in X-Press It and one in vellum. I used the new Fancy Flourish die on the X-Press It card stock. I then used Jody's Booster Dots to adhere the white tag to the Berrylicious one. The booster dots provided just the perfect amount of dimension! I stamped the sentiment on the vellum using Versamark ink and then I embossed it in silver. I finished off the tag with a piece of blue seam binding. The tag is quite elegant, although I am not sure it looks that way in this picture! LOL

MFT Teasers - Day Three!

 I am back with another day of MFT Teasers! Today is the probably the most anticipated day of teasers, it's Pure Innocence day! This month we have five adorable new Pure Innocence sets for you. I am previewing two of them today. First up, I have the PI Poppy set. This is the latest in the year long calendar series of PI's. These are some of my favorite Pure Innocence stamps!

 

 

 

I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored her with Copics. I am so pleased with myself for leaving a little white space on her shinny shoes! I've been trying to do this for weeks now! I paper pieced her dress with a print from Picket Fence. The card stock is Wild Cherry and Berrylicious.

I used a couple of Die-namics dies on this card. The Die-namics Simply Scallops Medium die seems to be one of my go to dies. I also used the Notched Tag Die-namics die. That little tag is just so darn cute! I finished off the card with some stitching, some Charcoal Twine and some White Satin Ribbon.

 
My next card features the super adorable PI Karate Girl. Isn't she adorable! I was so fortunate to be able to watch Michele Boyer color the Karate Boy while I was at CHA and I tried to emulate her awesome shading technique on the robe. It's no where close to Michele's beauty, but I am quite happy with how it turned out.

I used Berrylicious and Sweet Tooth card stock along with a print from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist collection.

  I used the new Bracket Tab Die-namics die along with the Die-namics Stacking Stars die. I just love all the new tab Die-namics that MFT had been putting out lately! I finished off the card with some saddle stitch ribbon.

MFT Teasers - Day Two!

We are back with day two of the MFT teasers! Today the MFT Design Team is sharing three fabulous stamp sets with you. Two new à la modes and the fabulous Just the Ticket stamp set and Die-namics die. I had to ink up the new Just the Ticket stamp set & Die-namics die! I LOVE this new set! 

I paired the Just the Ticket stamp set with the new Tag You're it Die-namics die. You are going to be seeing a lot of this fabulous tag! It is just the perfect size! I stamped the ticket images on pieces of paper from the My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found - Madison Avenue collection.  

Once again I used a ton of Die-namics dies on this card. I just can't seem to help myself! LOL The Mini Ticket Strip Border die goes so well with the new Just the Ticket set! I stamped one of the tiny heart images along the Mini Ticket Strip. The Hearts a Plenty Die-namics die went so well with the sentiment on the ticket that I had to slide that one in there too! LOL Finally, I used the Buttons Galore Die-namics die to tie it all together.

The card stock is Fossil and Black Licorice. I added some pink seam binding, a corduroy button and a little clip to finish off the card. This is such a fun set! I just know you are going to love it!

MFT Teasers - Day One!

  
 It's day one of the MFT Teasers and we have a fabulous line up of new stamps and dies for you this month. Today, we are sharing two new sets with you, By the Numbers and Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy.

My first card features By the Numbers stamp set and Die-namics dies. I can't tell you how excited I am about these numbers dies! I have been waiting for a set of numbers for awhile now!

I cut a piece of Cream Perfect Paper Panels with the By the Numbers Die-namics and then I stamped them with the numbers stamp. I sponged the edges of the numbers with some Distress ink. I used Brushed Copper card stock along with a number of prints from My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found - Union Square collection.

I am so excited about the new Tag You're It Die-namics die! It's a nice big tag and I know I am going to get a ton of use out of it!

The sentiment was stamped on the new Die-namics Bracket Tab die.

I also used the fabulous new Fancy Flourish Die-namics Die.

On the inside of the card I stamped another sentiment from the By the Numbers. I also used a few more Die-namics dies, the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics and the Sweet Stack Labels Die-namics die.

 

My next card features the Clearly Sentimental About Sympathy stamp set. if you read my blog you already know that I LOVE the sentiments in this set! As we all know, sympathy cards are never fun to make, but this set really does make it easy.

I kept the card fairly simple as I wanted the sentiment to be the focus. I used a number of prints from My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found - Portobello Road collection.

I only used one Die-namics die on this card, the Die-namics Simply Scallops Medium die. I must have overloaded on the Die-namics on the first card! LOL

I used some Hot Fudge and Bordering Blue card stock. I finished off the card with some seam binding and some pearl fourishes.

MFTWSC30

I am back with this weeks MFTWSC30 sketch! Sorry, I have been so quiet this week, I've been enjoying a wonderful week with my amazing friends in Chicago. I had high hopes of stamping some things to share with you before I left but you know how it goes! LOL My card today is a bit unusual as I really didn't stamp anything other that the sentiments. Instead I had a ton of fun with the Die-namics dies. I used the Die-namics Butterflies die, the Die-namics Teardrop Tree Topper  die and the Die-namics Simply Scallops Medium die.

The sentiments came from the new Pure Innocence set, Aim High. I used Tangy Orange card stock along with a number of prints from My Mind's Eye Lime Twist collection. I finished off the card with some Mandarin Orange Twine.

 

 

 Here are the details for the weekly MFTWSC challenge. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation.  You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish.  Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch.  All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process.  After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher.  If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher!  That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along.

I used the 1/4" Rosette Die-namics die with the black and white paper. The Rosette Die-namics die created a rosette that was the perfect size for this ribbon. This set was made to go with the Die-namics First Place Award Ribbon die, so it's no surprise that I used that too! Of course I had to add some bling to my ribbon! I used some crystals and pearls that MFT used to sell.

MFTWSC29 - Pure Innocence Pinwheel!

 It's time for MFTWSC29! This was the perfect opportunity to ink up the new Pure Innocence set, Pinwheel! I just love her little shirt! The ties are just adorable!

I stamped her on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored her with Copics.

I used some Hot Fudge card stock along with some prints from My Mind's Eye. I added some fun with some fabulous Die-namics dies!

   I used the Upsy Daisy Die-namics die for the flower. I finished the flower off with a Basic Grey brad. I also used the Double Scallop Border Die-namics. On the inside of the card I used the First Place Award Ribbon Die-namics for the sentiment.

Now that you have all the important info, I can show you my card! I am sure you could have guessed from my earlier comment that I would be paper piecing the dress!

I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored her with Copics. I recently took the Copic Intermediate Certification Class and I have been trying to work on my Copic coloring. I am trying really hard not to over blend my colors! I think, I am finally starting to get it! LOL

I used the Open Scallop Doily Die-namics die and the larger of the two Open Scallop Doily Duo Die-namics. I added a Fossil circle in between the two as I wanted the black to pop.

I used Fossil, Black Licorice and Grapesicle for card stock. The patterned paper is Picket Fence form Lily Bee Design. The sentiment on the inside of the card is from the Sunflower Sentiments stamp set that is only available with the VIP collection. I just LOVE this sentiment!

MFTWSC28 - Be Merry

 Did you enjoy the On a Roll projects yesterday? The MFT Design Team had a fabulous time creating them! If you haven't checked them out be sure to check out Kim's Blog post from yesterday, there are some gorgeous creations there.

Today, I am sharing my card for the MFTWSC sketch! I decided to ink up the à la modes set Candy Cane Kisses. I know, another Christmas card. I am still on a mission to create one a week, I think I missed last week! LOL Oh well, I am still ahead of the game!

I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored the image with Copics. I cut out the image and places it on a fun snowflake print from Crate's Snow Day Collection. The card stock is Hot Fudge.

I used one of my all time favorite Die-namics dies, Die-namics Let it Snowflake. I finished off the card with some Basic Grey brads. I used a different Die-namics die for my sentiment, the Framed Greeting Die-namics die was the perfect size for the sentiment I was using.

MFT Design Team Creative Challenge

In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. I am seriously addicted to the Rolled Rose Die-namics dies! If you haven't checked them out yet, you really need to. With the Rolled Rose Die-namics dies, you can create stunning roses in just minutes!

For my card today, I used MFT's Clearly Sentimental About the Journey stamp set. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of Sweet Tooth card stock. I added layers of Red Hot and Black Licorice. I used the gorgeous High Tea Party Doily Die-namics die, this is another one of my favorites! I added some Prima flourish rhinestones and pearls to finish off the card.

MFT, now has Rolled Rose Die-namics dies in three different sizes. Here is a fabulous graphic that showcases all three dies (the Mini Rolled Roses feature two sizes).

Large Rolled Rose Die-namics, Rolled Rose Die-namics and the Mini Rolled Roses Die-namics. If you are looking for the perfect adhesive for the Rolled Rose Die-namics Jody sells fabulous Sticky Dots that are the perfect size for the Rolled Rose Die-namics. These dots work amazingly well with the felt!
