It's time for our monthly MFT Creative Challenge! This is such a fun challenge as we never know what Joanne is going to come up with!
In 2011, MFT is working harder than ever to inspire you, and we have come up with something we think you'll really enjoy. Our Design Team Creative Challenge is a new monthly feature, where we challenge our design team to explore their creative side using a specific theme, product or technique. This month, we're going to "be negative." Our designers will show you what you can do with the negative space after you cut out your Die-namics, or the other half of patterned paper, cardstock or felt that is leftover when you're done with your Die-namics! Visit Kim's Blog to see exactly what we've been up to, you'll find a full list of designers that have taken up the challenge!
I inked up the adorable new Pure Innocence Pumpkin Patch Girl set. I was in the mood for a fall card! I just love the fall, especially the rich fall colors. I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics. I paper pieced her sweater with a print from My Mind's Eye All Spice collection. I added a touch of glaze to her shoes and the wagon wheels.
I added a ton of Jody's Dimensionals to the back of the patterned paper as I wanted to pop it up off the card stock. I love the dimension this created but I certainly had to cut up a bunch of small pices to make sure all the areas were supported! LOL
Don't forget to check out Kim's Blog to see what the rest of the MFT Design Team created for this challenge!
