Each month the MFT Design Team is given a Creative Challenge, this months challenge is all about babies! Be sure to check out Kim's Blog to see the full list of designers participating in today's challenge. I know there will be a ton of fabulous baby projects for you toenjoy!I decided to make a baby card to add to my stash. I like to have a few extra cards on hand just in case I don't have time to make one when I need one! Other than the Aqua Blue satin ribbon, I tried to keep the card fairly gender neutral. I wanted to be able to use it for a girl or a boy.
I used mostly Die-namics on this card. I started with the Layered Hearts Die-namics. I know I use this die a lot but I really like it! I used the By the Letters Die-namics to spell out baby. I cut the letters out in Snow Cone and the patterned paper. I placed the patterned paper just slightly off the Snow Cone to create a bit of a shadow. This is a great way to add a bit of extra dimension to your letters.Along the bottom of the card I used the Notched Tag Die-namics die. I just love that cute little jumper!
I used the same Die-namics on the inside of the card. The sentiment comes from the à la modes Oh Baby stamp set. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye Blink of an Eye collection. The card stock is Fossil and Snow Cone.
