This month's Creative Challenge was to create a teacher appreciation project. One thing that teachers always need are note cards. I decided to make up a cute gift set using the new Big Greetings stamp set and the Botanical Beauty Die-namics. I wanted to keep the cost down so I kept supplies to a minimum. I figured I could make a number of these sets for a very reasonable price.
I created four different note cards with matching envelopes.
I created two of each for a total of eight note cards and envelopes. I used some old Stampin' Up! note cards and envelopes. I added a Botanical Beauty Flower and a sentiment to each note card. I finished off each card with a piece of Black Gingham ribbon. I left the inside of the cards blank. I used some prints from Echo Park's Dots & Stripes and some Black Licorice card stock.
Of course, I wanted to have a fun way to present the note cards, so I created a mini Envelope Album. I used MFT's new Sweet Tooth Envelopes. I glued four of the envelopes together and added a bit of polka dot paper to the inside of each envelope. I used the fabulous new Oval STAX 1 Die-namics & Oval STAX 2 Die-namics. The sentiment on each envelope matches the cards inside the envelope. I was able to fit two cards and envelopes inside each of the large envelopes.
