This weeks MFTWSC sketch has nice clean, simple lines. While I love all the layers and wonky panels on some sketches, it is nice to have a simple one every now and then. As soon as I saw this sketch, I knew Vertical Greetings Die-namics and Stamp Set would be perfect for it.
I used the Vertical Greetings Die-namics die with a piece of X-Press It card stock and a piece of patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment on the X-Press It card stock, the patterned paper die cut I cut in half. I added that die cut to both ends of the X-Press It card stock to lengthen the sentiment panel. It's a great way to give your sentiment panel that extra layer.
The patterned paper is from LilyBee Design's Buttercup collection. The card stock is Blue Raspberry and Sweet Tooth.
I used the Botanical Beauty Die-namics die to create the flower. The largest flower in this set is quite large so I don't often use all three layers on a card, but with this sketch I had lots of room for it.
On the inside of the card I used a sentiment from Finishing Flourishes.
