The new Pure Innocence Surf's Up VIP Collection is available now! It is a LIMITED QUANTITY product that gives you the opportunity to purchase upcoming stamp sets and Die-namics dies TWO WEEKS early. These collections sell out quickly. I would suggest you shop first and then come back to enjoy the VIP New Product Tour!
I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored him with Copics. I paper pieced his surf board with a print from Echo Park's Hello Summer collection.
One of my favorite tricks for creating real looking sand is to use sandpaper! I always have a pack of 150 fine grade sand paper in my stash of goodies. A pack of 5 sheets is usually about $3.00. It looks and feels great!
I used the Catch a Wave Die-namics die for the waves. I sponged the top edges of the waves with some Sail Boat Blue ink to give them a bit of extra dimension.
I finished off the card with some Lemon Drop Twine and a big button.
I used Sweet Tooth and Berrylicious for card stock. The ovals were created with the fabulous Oval STAX 1 Die-namics and the Oval STAX 2 Die-namics.
The sentiments are both from the Surf's Up Sentiments Mini stamp set.
My next card features the PI Surfer Chick stamp set. I am so excited to have a little surfer girl!
Once again, I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics. I paper pieced her suit and board with a print from Echo Park's Hello Summer pack.
I used the same Catch a Wave Die-namics die and the sand paper for this card. The circles were cut with the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and the Circle STAX 2 Die-namics.
For card stock I used Hot Fudge and Red Hot.
The gorgeous new Hibiscus Die-namics die is the perfect match for the PI Surfer Chick stamp set.
Along the bottom of the card I used the new Jumbo Squiggle Border Die-namics die. This is such a fun die! I added a bit of Lemon Drop twine to finish it off.
The Sunshine Die-namics die was the perfect embellishment to finish off the card. I used the new Sentiment Strips Die-namics for the sentiment banner. I cut down the size a bit as my sentiment was fairly short.
On the inside of the card I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics die for the sentiment.
