We are getting closer to the end of our teaser week. Have you picked out a few favorites so far? If you are like me you will have a long wish list this month!
Today we are previewing two fabulous new sets, à la modes Firecracker and à la modes Go for Gold.
My first card features the à la modes Firecracker stamp set. This is such a fun set for summer!
I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics. I paper pieced her dress and the rocket with prints from October Afternoon Campfire and Jillibean Soup Homemade 6 Bean Soup collections. I finished off the firecracker with a touch of glitter.
I used the fabulous new Star STAX Die-namics die along with the Stacking Stars Die-namics dies to create the stars. The sentiment was stamped on a sentiment flag created with the First Place Ribbon Award Die-namics die. I also used the new Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics die and the Notched Border Die-namics die. I finished off the card with a bit of Maraschino Cherry Twine.
My next card features another fun summer set, the new à la modes Go for Gold stamp set.
I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics. I used Red Hot, Blue Raspberry and Night of Navy card stock. The patterned paper is from October Afternoon Report Card. The ribbon is Blue Raspberry and the brads are from Basic Grey.
Once again, I used the Star STAX Die-namics dies. I have a feeling that I will be using these a lot in the future! I also used the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics for the sentiment on the front of the card. On the inside of the card I used the First Place Ribbon Award Die-namcis.
