It's day four of the MFT Teasers! We are featuring two fabulous new stamp set/Die-namics combos today, Bookmark Duo Die-namics and Stamp Set and the Jersey Die-namics and Stamp Set. I am a huge fan of our Die-namics and stamp set combos.
My first project features the Bookmark Duo Die-namics and Stamp Set. I kept the bookmark fairly simple as I actually want to use it in a book! Yes, I still read actual books!
I used the larger bookmark Die-namics die to cut a piece of Teresa Collins Linen paper. I added a couple of layers of card stock in Red Hot and Black Licorice. I stamped the sentiment on an oval of Whip Cream card stock. I used the Oval STAX 1 Die-namics to cut the oval.
I wanted a large bloom for the top of the bookmark, so I used the Plentiful Petals Die-namics to create the flower. I cut one full set of three flowers in the Red Hot card stock and another full set in the patterned paper. I love the way the flower turned out!
My next project is a very simple bookmark. I used the larger bookmark Die-namics to cut the patterned paper from Lily Bee Design's Handmade collection. I added a thin layer of Hot Fudge card stock.
I used the smaller bookmark Die-namics with a piece of Whip Cream card stock. I stamped the sentiment and the book using Rich Cocoa Memento ink.
I used the new Award Seal Die-namics die with Berrylicious card stock. I then added a number of layers using the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and Circle STAX 2 Die-namics.
My next project features the new Jersy Die-namics and Stamp Set. I made this birthday card for a very special little boy.
Rowan doesn't know it yet, but he is destined to play football (that's soccer for those of you in North America), hence the soccer balls on the card. Rowan already has a set of team colors. His Godmother is from Brazil and his Godfather, my brother, is from Norwich. This shade of green and yellow are the colors for both Caroline and Stephen. Let's just say that Rowan will grow up wearing lots of green and yellow! LOL
I used the new Jersey Die-namics for the jersey. I cut out the jersey in both colors, I paper pieced the bits that I wanted in green. I added an extra layer of the yellow for the trim around the neck. I stamped the name and number on the jersey using Bottle Adirondack ink. The soccer ball is from the PI I Get a Kick Out of You stamp set.
I used the Oval STAX 1 Die-namics and the Oval STAX 2 Die-namics to cut the ovals. I used Lemon Drop, Glorious Green and X-Press It for card stock.
On the inside of the card I used the Big Greetings stamp set for the sentiment. I also added a few extra soccer balls.
