It's day five of the MFT Teasers and you know what that means! It's à la modes day! We have two fabulous à la modes to share with you today, 80's Girl and Polished to Perfection. I am absolutely in LOVE with both of these stamp sets.
My card features the fabulous à la modes - Polished to Perfection stamp set. I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics. I paper pieced the rest of the image with prints from My Mind's Eye, On the Bright Side - One. If you look closely at the image, you will see that I cut out two layers for the skirt. I wanted to give the pleats a little extra height.
I used the new Designer Labels 4 STAX Die-namics for the main panel. I tucked one side of the panel under the flags created with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I added a bit of Maraschino Red Twine to the bottom of the panel. The card stock is Black Licorice and Sweet Tooth.
I used one of the arrows from the Lead the Way Die-namics for the sentiment at the top of the card. I added an extra layer in Wild Cherry. I finished off the arrow with a Wild Cherry Button and a piece of Maraschino Red Twine.
On the inside of the card, I added a couple of extra nail polish bottles. The bottle cam from the WTG Girls Day In stamp set.
