It's day three of the MFT Teasers! We have two fantastic sentiment sets for you today, Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents and Clearly Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn.
My first card features Clearly Sentimental about Grandparents. This set is full of beautiful, heartfelt sentiments. I used the new Designer Labels 4 STAX Die-namcis with a few prints from My Mind's Eye, Follow Your Heart, Be Amazing collection. The card stock is Whip Cream and Going Grey Textured.
I stamped the sentiment on one of the Designer Labels. I don't usually like to stamp a sentiment on patterned paper as it can be hard to read, but the print on this paper was light enough that it didn't interfere with the sentiment.
I used the new Layered Rose Die-namics and the new Medium Leafy Flourish Die-namcis to create the flower. I finished it off with a half pearl. I also added a few flags created with the Fishtail Flags Die-namcis dies.
My second card features Clealry Sentimental about Audrey Hepburn. I absolutely love the sentiments and the font in this set.
I stamped the sentiment on a piece of X-Press It card stock that was cut with the Designer Label 4 STAX Die-namcis and I hand stitched around the edge. I layered this with a piece of Berrylicious card stock. Since I used the largest of the Designer Label 4 STAX Die-namics I needed to create a larger layer. I cut the Berrylicious card stock the same size as the X-Press It card stock. I cut the label down the middle and adhered it to the top and bottom of the main layer.
Once again, I used the new Layered Rose Die-namics and the Medium Leafy Flourish Die-namics. I used a print from Lily Bee Design Handmade collection for the flower and Natural card stock for the flourish.
