I have a couple of projects to share with you tonight featuring the new Circus Spectacular Die-namics and Stamp Set.
I challenged myself to create these projects without using any patterned paper. It was a little intimidating at first, but once I got stamping I had an absolute blast! I had forgotten how fun it was to stamp without coloring!
I stamped all the images on X-Press It card stock. I used Watermelon, Pool, Sunshine Yellow and Sunset Orange Adirondack ink. The Circus Spectacular stamp set is FULL of fun little stamps that are perfect to create your own patterned paper.
I used Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and the Circle STAX 2 Die-namics for the circles. The card stock is Red Hot and Black Licorice.
I used the Tag You're It Die-namics die to cut the tag. The Big Greetings sentiment was stamped on a panel cut with the new Designer Labels 4 STAX Die-namcis. I used a touch of Charcoal Twine to secure the tag to the gable box.
If I am using a Kraft Gable Box I will usually stamp right on the box, but the white Gable Boxes tend to have a real sheen to them that makes stamping directly in them difficult. I decided not to chance it! I cut two long strips of X-Press It card stock and stamped on there! I used a bit of Charcoal Twine at the top of the X-Press It card stock to hide the top of the card stock.
For the coordinating card I used all the same inks and card stocks.
Here is a close up of the seal. I love having matching Die-namics and stamps! Stamping has never been easier! I added a little Black Licorice button and some Charcoal Twine for that added touch of black.
Once again, I used a sentiment from the Big Greetings for the inside of the card.
My next set of projects uses my favorite stamp in the Circus Spectacular set, the elephant! Since I was using my favorite stamp, I figured I would use my favorite color combination as well!
I used Adirondack Shell Pink and Memento Tuxedo Black for the ink on all the items in this set.
I used the new Designer Labels 4 STAX Die-namics for the main panels. I stamped the small diamonds on the label panels. Stamping a repeated pattern is actually quite easy when using clear stamps. They key is not to worry about being perfect! LOL
I used a couple of the ticket stamps in the Circus Spectacular set to create the background paper. I added a couple of extra stars here and there. The sentiments are from the Big Greetings stamp set.
I repeated the same design on the gift box.
I added a couple of stars created with the Stars STAX Die-namics and the Stacking Stars Die-namics.
I decorated the top of the box with a few more Designer Labels 4 STAX Die-namics and a large star.
I used Pink Lemonade card stock and Pink Lemonade ribbon.
My final project in this set is a little treat box filled with caramel corn.
I added a couple of tickets created with the new Ticket Strip Die-namics die. I am really loving the perforated edge on these tickets! I secured the ticket using a Pink Lemonade Button and some Charcoal Twine.
These are the Die-namics that I used for my projects today.
