We've made it to release day and it's time to shop! All the new stamps and Die-namics can be found HERE in the MFT Boutique. I am very excited to be sharing a few projects created with the fabulous Thankful Leaves stamp set and the coordinating Fall Leaves Die-namics.
I created two sets of projects that are perfect for your Thanksgiving celebrations. The first set focuses on items to bring to the hostess.
Gable boxes are one of my favorite packaging items. They are the perfect size for small gifts or baking. I love that the recipient can reuse them later for another gift.
I used the script stamp from the Thankful Leaves stamp set along the left side of the box in Early Espresso Classic ink. I cut a number of leaves using the Fall Leaves Die-namics with Whip Cream card stock. Once the leaves were cut, I went to town stamping!
I used some classic, warm fall colors and a couple of unusual colors to create the leaves. I used Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy and Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink to stamp the leaves. The spines of the leaves were all stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink. Once the leaves were stamped I used the Paper Blossoms Tool Kit and the Paper Blossoms Molding Matt to create some dimension to leaves.
The cluster of leaves were tied together using some Hemp Cord and a Hot Fudge button. I finished off the gable box with some Natural Twill from May Arts.
I created the card to coordinate with the gable box and the wine tag. The leaves were once again cut with the Fall Leaves Die-namics in Whip Cream card stock. The leaves were stamped in Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy and Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink. I used Natural and Hot Fudge for card stock.
The sentiment tag was created using the new Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. I know I have said it before, but I am going to say it again, I am so stinkin' excited about this new set of STAX! Once again, I used some Hemp Cord and a Hot Fudge button to tie the leaves together.
I kept the inside of the card fairly simple. Just one leaf and the sentiment tag.
The final project in my hostess gift trio is a wine bottle tag. With the Let's Toast Die-namics making a wine bottle tag is super easy! I cut the tag in Natural card stock. I cut three leaves using the Fall Leaves Die-namics and Sweet Tooth card stock. The leaves were stamped in Old Olive, More Mustard and Elegant Eggplant, Early Espresso Classic Ink.
To create the bow, I used the amazing new Beautiful Bows Die-namics with some Natural card stock. I stamped the bow with the script stamp from the Thankful Leaves stamp set. I then finished it off with a Hot Fudge button and some Hemp Cord.
My next set of projects focus on the Thanksgiving table setting.
I created a very simple wreath to sit on each plate. I have a number of pieces of circle shaped chipboard in my stash. This larger sized one was just the perfect size for a dinner plate.
I cut the leaves using the Fall Leaves Die-namics and Sweet Tooth card stock. I used Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive, Not Quite Navy, Early Espresso, and Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink. The leaves were secured to the chipboard using Jody's dimensional dots. I finished off the wreath with another Beautiful Bows Die-namics bow.
The Let's Toast Die-namics includes a die that was designed for making wine glass charms. This little die allows your wine glass charm to easily slip onto the glass. I added a couple of leaves, a Hot Fudge button and some Hemp Cord to finish off the wine glass charm.
Next up is the napkin holder. I created the base of the napkin holder with some May Arts natural twill.
I attached a Beautiful Bows Die-namics bow to the napkin ring using a Hot Fudge button and some Hemp Cord. The leaves were stamped in More Mustard, Old Olive, Early Espresso and Elegant Eggplant Classic ink.
I created a simple name plate card to sit at the top of each place setting. Once again, I used Sweet Tooth, Natural and Hot Fudge for card stock. The Beautiful Bow Die-namics bow was secured with some Hemp Cord and another Hot Fudge button.
My final project was a little gift box for each dinner guest. The box was an older SU! item I had in my stash. I added a couple of layers of Natural and Hot Fudge card stock. The leaves were stamped in Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Old Olive and Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink.
Here is one last picture with all my projects featuring the amazing Thankful Leaves and the Fall Leaves Die-namics. I hope you have enjoyed my projects today.
