Wow! That was one busy release week! I hope you all enjoyed all the projects the design team created for you! If you haven't had a chance to shop yet, you can find all the new items HERE.
One of my favorite sets from this release is the Seasonal Sentiments stamp set. I love the big bold fonts in this set! I decided to ink it up again for this weeks MFTWSC sketch.
I stamped the Christmas tree image in Old Olive and Real Red Classic Ink on a piece of X-Press It card stock. I trimmed out the three red words and pasted them on the green image. I wanted the look of the two colors without doing all the masking! The small sentiment was stamped with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink.
I used the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and the Circle STAX 2 Die-namics to cut the circles. The Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics and the Let it Snowflake Die-namics finished off the bottom corner of the card.
For card stock I used Red Hot, Jellybean Green and Hot Fudge. The patterned paper is from Jillibean's Christmas Eve Chowder collection. I used a couple of Hot Fudge buttons to finish off the card.
Here are the details for the weekly MFTWSC challenge. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher.
If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along.
To play along with us this week all you need to do is follow the sketch, upload your creation to SCS using the keyword MFTWSC94. Join us this week in the MFT forum for lots of chatter and fun! Be sure to check out Kim's Blog, she will have a full list of all the designers participating in today's challenge!
