Before I get to the projects, I wanted to sincerely thank each and every one of you who have visited my blog this past week. Speaking of comments, don't forget to leave a comment on each of the designers New Product Tour posts. MFT will be drawing for a $50.00 Gift Certificate from all the comments left on the designer blogs. I am sure each of you could find something to spend $50.00 on in the MFT Boutique! LOL
My first card features one of the stockings from the new Stitched Stockings stamp set and the Stocking Trio Die-namics. I used the Stocking Trio Die-namics to cut out the stocking in Whip Cream card stock. I then stamped the image with the new Wild Cherry ink. Just take a look at the fabulous coverage this ink gives! I LOVE it! I stamped the little button in Baja Breeze Classic ink.
I used the Oval STAX 1 Die-namics and the Oval STAX 2 Die-namics for the ovals. For card stock I used Berrylicious and Wild Cherry. The patterned paper is from the Lily Bee Design Christmas Cheer collection.
This gorgeous bow was created with the new Dainty Bows Die-namics. I love these new bow dies!
I kept the inside of the card fairly simple.
My next card is full of one of my favorite things, polka dots!
I used the Stockings Trio Die-namics with some X-Press It card stock. I then stamped the image from the Stitched Stocking stamp set in Wild Cherry, Jellybean Green and Baja Breeze ink. I am really loving this color combination! I placed the trio of stockings on a circle created with the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and the Circle STAX 2 Die-namics.
I used the fabulous new Darling Dots stamp set to stamp the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics. As a girl who loves polka dots I know I will get a ton of use out of this set!
For card stock I used Berrylicious, Black Licorice and X-Press It. I finished off the card with a touch of Black Gingham ribbon.
I also have a couple of fun Christmas treat projects to share with you.
I had a pack of these Berrylicious die-cut crackers sitting in my stash for quite some time. I believe that MFT sold them as part of a special pack a few years back. I decided to ink up a couple using the new Stitched Stockings stamp set.
I stamped the entire cracker with the long border stamp using Baja Breeze Classic ink.
For the sentiment oval I used a die from the Well Worn Greetings Die-namics and some X-Press It card stock. I stamped the main sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink, the last word was stamped in the new Wild Cherry Ink. I stamped a couple of the smaller stamps from the Stitched Stockings stamp set and used them to embellish the sentiment.
The ends of the crackers were tied together with Wild Cherry Ribbon.
My next trio of treats features the Lollipop Treat Die-namics along with the Stitched Stockings and Stocking Trio Die-namics.
I used the fabulous Lollipop Treat Die-namics with some X-Press It card stock. The long border stamp from the Stitiched Stockings stamp set is perfect for stamping the main part of the treat holder.
I used the new Wild Cherry, Jellybean Green and Baja Breeze ink for stamping the stockings, the backgrounds and the sentiments. The stockings were cut with the new Stocking Trio Die-namics.
I used Wild Cherry, Jellybean Green and Berrylicious card stock for the top of the treat holder. The patterned paper is from the Lily Bee Design Christmas Cheer Collection.
I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics for the sentiment flag.
My last trio of treats is full of chocolate fun!
Once again, I am using the Wild Cherry, Jellybean Green and Baja Breeze ink combination. I guess I was on a roll with it!
The sentiment was stamped on a piece of X-Press It card stock using Wild Cherry ink. I added a couple of buttons in Jellybean Green and Baja Breeze ink. I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics to create the sentiment flags in X-Press It and Berrylicious card stock.
The stockings were cut with the Stocking Trio Die-namics. I used Wild Cherry, Jellybean Green and Baja Breeze ink. To finish off the treat tins I added a bit of red gingham ruffled ribbon from May Arts.
I have one final project to share with you today. I had originally planned on adding a tutorial to this post on how to create this fun Santa Sleigh however, this post seems long enough! I will have the tutorial on my blog for you Thursday morning at 9:00am EST. Make sure you pick up the Santa's Sleigh Die-namics.
I used Red Hot, Gumdrop Green, X-Press It can Brushed Silver card stock, the patterned paper is from the Lily Bee Design Christmas Cheer collection.
I stamped the sentiment from the Stitched Stockings stamp set on a piece of X-Press It card stock using Wild Cherry ink. The sentiment flag was cut with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.
I finished off the sleigh with a small piece of holly created with the Christmas Ornaments Die-namics.
Wow! That was a lot of Die-namics! If you made it this far, you definitely deserve to treat yourself to something special. Head on over to the MFT Boutique and treat yourself to some or all, of the new MFT stamps, dies, inks or replenishments!
