It's day five of the MFT Teasers and you know what that means, it's à la modes day! We have two fabulous à la modes for you, Sparkling Season and You Shine. I have a couple of tags to share with you today featuring each of these sets.
My first tag features the fantastic à la modes - You Shine stamp set. I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored it with Copics. I paper pieced the lights with some prints from the Carta Bella Merry & Bright collection. I added a couple of layers of Crystal Effects to each of the lights.
I used the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics for the base of the tag. I added a couple of layers of the Simply Scallops Small Die-namics to the bottom of the tag. The new Dainty Bows Die-namics were the perfect finishing touch for the bottom of the tag.
The large snowflake was created with the Jumbo Snowflake Die-namics die. I finished off the top of the tag with a piece of Sno Cone Ribbon, a Red Hot button and a piece of Shore twine.
My next tag features the new à la modes - Sparking Season stamp set. Once again, I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and colored the image with Copics. The Christmas ornament was paper pieced with a print form the Bella Carta Merry & Bright collection. I added a couple of layers of Crystal Effects to the ornament and to her boots.
I used the fun Snow Drifts Die-namics and some glitter to create the snow drifts. Once again, I added a couple of layers of the Simply Scallops Small Die-namics to the bottom of the tag. I used the smaller bow from the Dainty Bows Die-namics and a bit of Shore Twine to finish the bottom of the tag.
