It's day five of the MFT Teasers! Are you impressed with everything you have seen so far? So many fabulous products to choose from! Today, we are previewing my favorite set from this release, à la modes You're My Cup of Tea.
I was absolutely thrilled when I saw this new set! If you follow my blog, you know that I have a major tea addiction! The teacup that I drink out of is HUGE! I'm not even going to admit how many of those large cups of tea that I have in a day! LOL
For my card today, I used one of MFT"S older sketches, MFTWSC89. This was the only WSC sketch that I have missed in the last two years. It was really bugging me that I had missed one, so I had to complete it before the end of the year! LOL
I stamped the image on a piece of X-Press It card stock and I colored the image with Copics. I paper pieced her outfit and the cup with a number of prints from the Simple Stories Harvest Lane collection. I used the tab from the Mini Tabs Foursome Die-namics for the sentiment. I finished the front of the card with a flag from the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics.
On the inside of the card I added a couple of flags created with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics.
I created this little tea box to go with the card. The box was made with Hot Fudge and More Mustard card stock. The Always Time for Tea Die-namics were perfect for the box. I added a little heart from the Notched Tag Die-namics.
The box holds four individually packaged tea bags.
