I have a group of projects to share with you today. I embellished a number of bags and a couple of tins for my Christmas baking this year. The bags are still empty as I haven't started my baking yet, but they will be filled with Christmas goodies by the end of the week.
One of the things that I love about Die-namics is that you can create great projects fairly quickly. Once I decided on the Die-namics and the papers, these bags came together quite quickly. I like designs that are quick and easy, especially at Christmas time!
For this first bag, I layered a number of our fun snowflakes Die-namics. I used the new Snowflakes Doily Die-namics, the Jumbo Snowflake Die-namics and the Let It Snowflake Die-namics.
I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers Die-namics for the sentiment flag. The sentiment comes from the Seasonal Sentiments stamp set, I stamped it with Baja Breeze Classic Ink.
I used Berrylicous, Wild Cherry and X-Press It card stock, the patterned paper is from the Lilly Bee Designs Christmas Cheer.
Along the bottom of the bag I used the new Open Hexagon Border Die-namics.
This next set of bags features the same papers and card stock, I've just switched up the dies.
I used the Snowflake Doily Die-namics and the Sentimental Flourish Die-namics at the top of the bag. I stamped the sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments in Wild Cherry Ink. I added a couple of rhinestones for that extra bit of sparkle.
Along the bottom I used the new Bracket Edge Duo Die-namics and the Mini Double Dot Border Die-namics. I finished off the bottom corner with a snowflake from the Let It Snowflake Die-namics.
For the next set of bags I added a little gift tag.
I used the Gift Card Pocket - Horizontal Die-namics to create the pocket. I added a border with the Looped Border Die-namics.
I created a small tag for the inside of the pocket. The Layered Label Die-namics was the perfect size for the sentiment from the Seasonal Sentiments stamp set. I used the Sentimental Flourish Die-namics behind the gift card pocket. I seriously love this new die.
I used the Beautiful Bows Die-namics die to create the bow for the top of the bag.
My final set of projects is a set of tins. I thought these would be good for some of the bars I make at Christmas.
I covered the top of the tine with a piece of Wild Cherry card stock. I added a flag with a sentiment from the Seasonal Sentiments stamp and the Fishtail Flags Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers Die-namics.
I layered the Snowflake Doily Die-namics with the Sentimental Flourish Die-namics and the Winter Rose Die-namics. I used Berrylicious, Wild Cherry and Sweet Tooth for card stock, the patterned paper is from the Lily Bee Desings Christmas Cheer collection.
I hope I gave you a few ideas for adding some embellishments to your Christmas baking packages this year. Now, I need to get baking!
