I'm back for day two of the MFT Teasers. Today, we are featuring new stamps and Die-namics from the Laina Lamb Design line. There are two new stamp sets, Journal It - Graph Paper Notes and Document It - Captured Memories. The two new Die-namics are Insert It - Insta Frame Die-namics and Accent It - Cute Cameras.
I have a couple of projects to share with you today featuring these fabulous new items and my favorite little friend Rowan.
My first project features Rowan's Christmas photo with Santa. It was taken earlier this week and his mum proudly sent me the photo! LOL Apparently, Rowan and Santa aren't too friendly this year.
I used the fabulous Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers STAX Die-namics to create the flags. I stamped a sentiment from the Document It - Captured Memories stamp set on a piece of X-Press It card stock. I used the fantastic Wild Cherry Ink for the sentiment. I just love the coverage you get with MFT's new inks!
I created a couple of flowers using the new Winter Rose Die-namics dies and some prints from the Carta Bella Merry & Bright collection and the My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland collection. For the circle I used a couple of stamps from Laina's Document It - December and Document It -Days and Dates. I used Lucky Limeade Classic ink and Wild Cherry ink. The Accent It - Flags & Tags Die-namics cut out the award circle just perfectly.
I know I have said this before, but I have to say it again, I love how Laina's stamps and Die-namics can be used together! Each new set seems to build on or add to the previous one!
Here's one more look at Rowan, looks like he hasn't quite caught the Christmas spirit yet! LOL
My next project also features young Rowan. His mum caught him in the kitchen the other day sitting on the kitchen floor with a bag of cookies. He looks quite pleased with himself doesn't he? I created this fridge magnet to capture the moment.
I used the fabulous new Insert It - InstaFrame Die-namics and Steel Grey card stock to create the photo frame. I am seriously in love with this new die! It is going to get a ton of use!
I stamped the Journal It - Graph Paper Notes on a piece of paper using Marina Mist Classic Ink. I cut out the paper using the Insert It - 3x4 Insert Die-namics die and I tucked it behind the main picture. I used Berrylicious and Steel Grey card stock. The patterned paper is from Carta Bella's Alphabet Junction collection.
I used some sentiments from both the Document It - Captured Memories set and the Journal It - Graph Paper Notes set. The sentiments were stamped on X-Press It card stock using Marina Mist Classic Ink.
I used the Accent It - Flags & Tags Die-namics to cut out one of the sentiments, the other two were hand cut. Along the bottom of the piece I used the new Mini Double Dot Border Die-namics. I added a couple of hearts from the Hearts a Plenty Die-namics, a Steel Grey Button and some Stone Twine.
