The MFT Design Team Creative Challenge is a monthly feature, where we are challenged to explore our creative side using a specific theme, product, or technique. This month, we were challenged to create a project featuring the Die-namics Circle STAX. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for a list of all participating designers who have a project to share with you today.
I have three fun cards to share with you today.
My first card features one of my favorite color combinations, pink, black and white. Perhaps you have seen me use it before? LOL
I used the Circle STAX 1 Die-namics and the Circle STAX 2 Die-namics with Sweet Tooth and Razzle Berry card stock. The patterned paper is from Echo Park's Love Story collection. I also used Black Licorice card stock for the base. I created some depth by adding dimensionals behind some of the circles.
The sentiments are from the Big Greetings stamp set. I stamped them using Versamark ink and then embossed them with white embossing powder.
For my next card I used some prints from the October Afternoon Sidewalks collection. I stitched the circles to the card stock.
I used Whip Cream and Natural card stock.
The stamps are from this month's Triple Scoop stamp set, You Make My Day.
My final card features a bunch of larger circles from the Circle STAX 1 and Circle STAX 2 Die-namics.
One of my favorite things about the STAX Die-namics is how well they layer. I added a layer of Steel Grey card stock behind each of the patterned paper circles. The patterned paper is from the Fancy Pants Love Note collection. I also used Paver Red card stock.
The sentiments are from the Lovey Dovey stamp set. This is such a fun set! I stamped the sentiment on a flag created with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.
That's it for me today. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the design team created to share with you.
