It's release day! All the new stamp sets, Die-namics, and the new inks are all available now! You can find all the new products HERE in the MFT Boutique.
I have a ton of projects to share with you tonight featuring the new Hearts and Stitches stamp set. This fabulous new set features four long background stamps. These background stamps can really add a lot to your project.
It was all about PINK for this first set of projects.
I created the cards using X-Press It card stock. These cards are a little smaller than a normal sized card. They are 5" x 3" when folded. I thought they would be the perfect size for Valentine's Day cards.
I stamped the stitches in Regal Rose Classic Ink and then I masked off the top area of the card. I then stamped the hearts in Pretty Ink Pink Classic Ink along the bottom edge. Both these stamps, are from the Hearts and Stitches stamp set.
The two larger hearts from the Homespun Hearts stamp set were stamped in Regal Rose and Primrose Petals Classic Ink. I used the Rustic Hearts Die-namics to cut them out. The tiny Sweet Tooth button is tied on with a bit of Blossom Twine. I finished off the card with the sentiment and a bit more Blossom Twine.
I kept the inside very simple. Lots of room to write a little love note!
I also stamped the envelope to match the card. The back flap of the envelope has the small hearts stamped in Pretty in Pink ink.
My final project in this little set are treat boxes created with the new Square Pillow Box Die-namics. This is such a fun little die! I cut the boxes out in X-Press It card stock and I stamped the hearts from the Hearts and Stitches stamp set in Pretty in Pink Classic Ink.
The larger hearts were cut with the Rustic Hearts Die-namics and stamped with the Homespun Hearts stamp set. I added a cute little tag which was created with the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics. I added a touch of Blossom Twine to finish off the tag.
My next set of projects is the same style as the last, but the colors are a bit brighter!
The cards were created with X-Press It card stock. Yes, I know it is for Copics, but I love stamping on it too! I combined some stamps from the Hearts and Stitches stamp set with a stamp from the Homespun Hearts to create the bottom of the card. I used Pretty In Pink, Regal Rose and Wild Plum for ink.
The hearts were once again cut with the Rustic Hearts Die-namics and stamped with the Homespun Hearts stamp set. I finished off the card with a bit of Lilac Twine.
Once again, I kept the inside of the card nice and simple.
I used the same design on this envelope as I did on the first. I really love that little swirly stitch!
For this set of Square Pillow Boxes, I used a couple of hearts from the Homespun Hearts stamp set and a heart cut with the Heart STAX Die-namics. The sweet sentiment is from the Lollipop Additions - Love stamp set. Did I mention that I had fun combining stamp sets for these projects? LOL
This next set of projects was designed with a few sweet boys in mind.
My favorite color combination from Christmas has made it's way into my Valentine's projects! I stamped the X-Press It card stock using Wild Cherry Premium Dye Ink and Baja Breeze Classic Ink. I used one of the hearts from the Heart STAX Die-namics to cut out the heart shape on the front of the card.
I added a heart and a button from the Homespun Hearts stamp set to the bottom corner. I finished off the card with a bit of black gingham ribbon.
On the inside of the card there is a Berrylicious heart cut with the Heart STAX Die-namics. This is the heart that peaks out to the front of the card. The sentiment is from the Lovey Dovey stamp set.
Here's a quick peak at the envelope for this card. Sweet and simple!
For this set of treat boxes I used a heart from the Heart STAX Die-namics and a fun sentiment circle from the Lollipop Additions -Love stamp set.
My final project for today is a fun gift bag and matching tag.
The large heart from the Heart STAX Die-namics was the perfect size for the front of this gift bag. I cut two hearts, one in Wild Cherry and one in X-Press It card stock.
The Layered Heart Border Die-namics were the perfect thing for the bottom of the bag. I cut them out in Wild Cherry and Sweet Tooth card stock.
Here's a quick peak at the tag. I secured it to the bag with some Hemp Cord.
The tag was cut with the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics. I used a couple of stamps from the Hearts and Stitches stamp set, along with some sentiment from the Document It - Off the Chart stamp set. For ink I used Wild Cherry and Kraft Premium Dye ink. The Hybrid Mini Heirloom Rose and the Leaf Filled Flourish Die-namics were the perfect finishing touch for the tag.
