It's day two of the MFT Teasers and we have two fabulous sets to share with you today from the new Laina Lamb line, Document It - Off the Chart and Journal It - For the Record. I decided to try my hand at the chalkboard/subway art technique that has been so popular lately.
I used a number of stamps from the Document It - Off the Chart and Journal It -For the Record stamp sets. I also used some of the images from the Homespun Hearts stamp set. I stamped all the images in Versamark ink and then embossed them with White embossing powder. The shadow was then stamped in Whisper White Craft ink. I smudged the ink in a few places to give it that chalky look.
I added some doodles, dots and stripes with Prismacolor pencils. It isn't too hard to tell that I was never one for doodling!
I used Black Licorice, Sweet Tooth and Grapsicle for cardstock. I finished off the card with a few tiny brads.
