It's time for our monthly MFT Scrap Challenge. This is our fourth challenge and this may be my favorite of all the sketches. You can view the sketch HERE.
For my pages today I choose some pictures of my favorite little friend Rowan and his dog, Olive. Rowan and Olive are constant companions. They are so cute together!
Here's a quick shot of the two pages side by side.
In this first picture Rowan is showing off his sporty look. He was just starting to stand up, notice his firm grasp on the ottoman. As the always faithful sidekick, Olive is right at his side.
The new Rustic Hearts Die-namics were the perfect accent for this photo. I added a Kraft Button and some Hemp Cord.
Rowan loves to cuddle up to Olive on the couch. I just love that little smile on his face! The sentiment from the Journal It - For the Record stamp set was just perfect for this photo. I stamped it on a piece of Kraft card stock that was cut with the Layered Label Die-namics. I added a single row of hearts from the Hearts and Stitches stamp set. The hearts were stamped with the new Kraft Premium Dye Ink.
Here's a long shot of the right side of this page. The new Accent It - Pie Chart Die-namics were exactly what this page needed! Aren't they fun?
The pie shapes were cut from the Simple Stories Harvest Lane collection. Oh how I love these papers!
The fun sentiment is from the Document It - Captured Memories stamp set. It was used with an arrow from the Accent It -Labels and Tags Die-namics. I just love how all of Laina's products coordinate!
I added a heart to the two bottom circles. The heart was created with the Rustic Hearts Die-namics. The small I love you stamp is from the Lovey Dovey Sentiments stamp set. To document the year I added the 2012 stamp from the Document It - Days and Dates stamp set to the second heart.
I adjusted the sketch slightly on the second page.
I used the fabulous Circle STAX 1 Die-namics to cut out the three pictures.
Along the bottom of this strip of card stock I stamped the heart background from the Hearts and Stitches stamp set. It's very light but it does add to the overall feel of the page.
I added another heart and a sentiment from the Document It - Off the Chart stamp set.
The title was created with the High Rise Alphabet Lowercase and High Rise Alphabet Uppercase Die-namics.
