For my first card, I created a trio of roses using the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics. I usually create these roses in patterned paper or felt, but I used Pink Lemonade card stock for these. I sponged a little bit of ink onto the edges of the flowers to give them a little extra depth.
The flourish was created with the Leaf Filled Flourish Die-namics and some corrugated cardboard. I love the texture of the corrugated cardboard. It really adds a lot to the feel of the card. I finished off the front of the card with a bit of Hemp Cord.
The sentiments for this card came from the Big Greetings stamp set.
For my next card, I used the same color palate as the first. Pink Lemonade, Natural and Sweet Tooth for card stock. Using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, I stamped a sentiment from the LJD On the Line stamp set.
I used the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics to create a few flags. I stamped one of the flags with a diamond print using the Distressed Diamonds stamp set and Pink Lemonade Premium Dye ink. Another flag was stamped with Regal Rose ink and the Darling Dots stamp set.
To create the flower, I once again used the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics. This time I only used the flat parts of the die, not the rolled part. I added a Pink Lemonade Button and some Hemp Cord to finish off the flower.
I added a couple of flags and a sentiment from the Framed Greetings stamp set to the inside of the card.
For my Final card tonight, I used one of my favorite dies, the Umbrella Die-namics. I have always loved the rain and with that comes umbrellas and wellies! I cut the umbrella out in Pink Lemonade, Sweet Tooth and Kraft card stock. I added a Kraft Button and a touch of Hemp Cord to the top of the umbrella.
The sentiments are from the Umbrella Sentiments stamp set.
I hope you enjoyed my Clean and Simple cards today. They were a real challenge to create! LOL Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team created.
