I have a number of fun projects to share with you this evening. This first set of projects features the Spring Backgrounds stamp set, the Embellished Eggs stamp set and the Easter Elements Die-namics all from the Lisa Johnson Designs line.
I created a CAS card and a fun little Cadbury Easter Egg treat holder.
Using Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink, I stamped a background image from the Spring Backgrounds stamp set on a piece of X-Press It card stock. I added the sweet sentiment in Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink.
I cut out a couple of eggs and the flower using the Easter Elements Die-namics. I stamped the eggs in Pink Lemonade and Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink. The flower was stamped in Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink. I added a Sweet Tooth Button and a piece of Blossom Twine to the center of the flower.
For card stock I used Grape Jelly and Pink Lemonade.
To create the Cadbury Egg treat holder, I used the Peek-A-Boo Trio Die-namics as a guide. I was hoping that the holes in the Peek-a-Boo Die-namics would be the right size for the eggs but they were a tad too large. I used one of the Circle STAX Die-namics to create the wholes for the eggs.
Once the top of the box was designed I created the bottom using a Scor Pal.
I stamped the same trio of eggs and flowers on the box as I did on the card. The sweet sentiment was stamped in Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink on a flag created with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics.
For my next set of projects I created some fun Easter treat holders.
I used the Lollipop Treat Die-namics to create these fun lollipop holders. I used X-Press It card stock and I stamped a pattern from the Spring Backgrounds stamp set on the card stock using Pink Lemonade Premium Dye Ink. The little bunny is from the new Woven Basket Die-namics. It fit perfectly on the lollipop treat holder.
I stamped the flower from the Embellished Egg stamp set with Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink. I cut the flower out with the Easter Elements Die-namics. The flowers were finished off with a Sweet Tooth Button and a piece of Blossom Twine. The sentiment was stamped on a flag created with the Fishtail Flags STAX Die-namics. Yes, I really do love my Fishtail Flags! LOL
I absolutely fell in love with the Square Pillow Box Die-namics from last month, and as soon as I saw the Embellished Eggs stamp set, I knew exactly what I wanted to create with it.
To decorate the pillow box I stamped it with the chevron pattern from the Spring Backgrounds stamp set using Sno Cone Premium Dye Ink. I added a large pink gingham ribbon and a couple of tags created with the Notched Tag Die-namics and the Easter Elements Die-namics.
My next project features two of my favorite new Die-namics, the Large Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics and the Large Leaf-Filled Flourish Die-namics. I created a Spring/Summer Wreath for the front door.
I used the Large Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics and the Mini Hybrid Heirloom Rose Die-namics to create all the flowers.
The leaves were all created with the Large Leaf Filled Flourish Die-namics.
I used a couple of colors of textured card stock from Bazzill to create the flowers and the leaves, The ribbon is an old Satin one that I had sitting in my stash.
My final project tonight features the new Woven Basket Die-namics and the Easter Elements Die-namics. I love how well these sets go together!
I cut the basket out in Natural card stock and I did a little sponging with some Latte Adirondack ink. I used a couple of prints from the gorgeous Lily Bee Design's Handmade collection for the eggs. I added a little tag that I created with the Notched Tag Die-namics. I tied it to the basket with some Hemp Cord.
I like to add a little bit of solid color here and there when there are so many different patterns on one card. I added a pop of red to the front of the card with the little bow and a pop of red to the inside with the little flower.
That's all for me today! I hope you have all enjoyed seeing my projects as much as I have enjoyed making them. Be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the Design Team created to share with you today.
