It's time for our monthly MFT Scrap Challenge. We have a really fun sketch for you this month and we have an amazing guest designer joining us for the month. Be sure to head on over to the MFT Blog to see who our guest designer is.
For my page tonight I decided to feature a picture of my sweet little puppy Tibbs. He likes to hang out on my bed while I am working. I snapped this quick photo of him the other day after he had let out a quick bark to let me know he would like a little attention.
Using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink, I stamped a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Pets stamp set on a flag created with the Fishtail Flags Die-namics and the Fishtail Flags Layers Die-namics. I used Smooth White and Black Licorice for card stock.
The heart was created with the Heart STAX Die-namics. If you take a look at the paper you will see that it has fun doggie sentiments on it. This paper was part of an Echo Park dog kit. I like that the sentiments are subtle and don't overtake the page.
I stamped a heart and polka dot background using the Hearts and Stitches stamp set. I wanted the print to be subtle so I used Versamark ink. I used the Decorative Doily Die-namics for the scalloped circle on the sketch. I thought this doily went the best with the Damask pattern on the pillow.
I leave you with one last look at my gorgeous puppy. It's a wonder that I get any work done when this cute little guy is around!
