Welcome to the New Product Tour! I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed all the Teaser Time projects that we have shared with you this week. I have a couple of fun cards to share with you today that feature the new Paint Brushes Die-namics and the Abstract Art stamp set. Before we get to the projects, make sure you go to the MFT Boutique and shop for all the new goodies. You can find all the Brand Spankin' New Products HERE.
For my first card, I used the larger paint brush in the Paint Brushes Die-namics set. I die-cut the brush in Kraft card stock. To give the brush the look of wood, I stamped it with the wood background from the Western Backgrounds stamp set.
I die-cut the brush in Grape Jelly, Berrylicious, Sour Apple, Lemon Drop, Orange Fizz, and Electric Red card stock. I cut each colored brush into smaller strips to form the multi-colored brush. The brush strokes were stamped with the corresponding inks. I applied a heavy layer of Crystal Effects over the brush strokes and the brush bristles to give it that wet paint look. I'm really happy with the way this turned out.
On the inside of the card, I added another sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Art stamp set with another brushstroke of paint.
I went a little wild with my second card.
I die-cut a heart using the Heart STAX Die-namics. I added a couple of paint strokes and then a sentiment to the center of the heart. I die-cut another paint brush from the Paint Brushes Die-namics and added it to the heart.
On the inside of the card, I stamped the small sentiment from the Lovey Dovey Sentiments stamp set. I also left lots of room on the inside of the card for a nice message.
My final card is another bright one. There is just something about the Abstract Art stamp set that inspires me to use bright colors!
I die-cut the paint brushes in Black Licorice and Shimmery Silver. The paint brush tips were die-cut in Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry, Berrylicious, Grape Jelly, Electric Red, Orange Fizz, and Lemon Drop.
I stamped the brush strokes in Sour Apple, Blu Raspberry, Berrylicious, Grape Jelly, Electric Red, Orange Fizz, and Lemon Drop Premium Dye Ink. I covered the ink with a generous layer of Crystal Effects.
On the inside of the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about Art stamp set. I finished off the card with a bit of text from the Art Expression Text stamp set and a few more brush strokes of paint.
Well, that's it for me today. I sincerely hope you have enjoyed my projects this week. Please be sure to check out the MFT Blog to see all the fabulous inspiration the design team have to share with you.
