My favorite little guy Rowan is about to celebrate his second birthday. All of my projects tonight were created for him.
My first project is Rowan's birthday card. I used the Blueprints 5 Die-namics to cut the Smooth White layer. I die-cut a number of balloons in Blu Raspberry, Grape Jelly, and Sour Apple card stock. Each balloon was then stamped with the matching ink.
The happy birthday was die-cut with the Happy Birthday Die-namics.
To go along with the card I created a matching gift bag and tag. The gift bag is actually quite large, I decorated it with a large balloon bouquet. I die-cut lots of the balloons in Blu Raspberry, Grape Jelly, and Sour Apple card stock. I also die-cut a handful of them in matching patterned paper. Most of the balloons were adhered to the bag with large sticky dots.
To create the tag I used the Traditional Tags STAX Die-namics. I stamped a trio of balloons in Blu Rapsberry, Grape Jelly, and Sour Apple Premium Dye Ink. I also stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Greetings stamp set in Grape Jelly Premium Dye Ink.
My final project is a birthday banner for Rowan's birthday party. I die-cut all the banner pieces with the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX. The banner pieces were all attached to a piece of Blu Raspberry Ribbon.
In between each of the larger banner pieces I added a few tiny banners that were die-cut with the Bitty Banners Die-namics. Each piece was then stamped with the Bitty Banners stamp set. I added a button to the top of each of these pieces.
I added a balloon trio to the first and last banner piece. I had originally planned on adding balloons to more of the banner pieces but I found it distracted too much from the letters.
Before I go, I wanted to say a huge thank you to all of you that have taken the time to leave comments this week. I really appreciate each and every one of you!
That's it for me today. I hope you have all enjoyed our teasers this week. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog to see what the rest of the MFT Design Team has created to share with you.
