I have three fun cards to share with you tonight, all of them feature the fabulous Sailboat Die-namics and the Wave Stencil. I just love this set of dies and all the nautical products being released this month.
I die-cut the sailboat in Smooth White and Kraft card stock. I used the Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-namics and the Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-namics, along with the new Fishnet Cover-Up Die-namics. I added a bit of rope twine to finish off the card.
The sails were created with the pierced border die from the Blueprints 3 Die-namics. I die-cut a few pieces of card stock with that die and then I adhered them together with the new Adhesive Sheets. Once the pieces were all secure on the adhesive sheet, I ran it through my die-cut machine with the Sailboat Die-namics. The waves were die-cut with the Making Waves Die-namics.
For my final card today, I played with the new Wave Stencil. I taped the stencil to a piece of Smooth White card. I sponged on Sno Cone, Berrylicious, and Nightsift Blue ink. Using the three colors together gave the water a little more depth. The square was then die-cut with the square die from the Blueprints 12 Die-namics.
The Let's Get Nautical dies are so nice and large, they are the perfect size for a card front. I die-cut the life preserver in Smooth White and Wild Cherry card stock. I tied the preserver down with another bit of rope twine.
On the inside of the card, I used a sentiment from the Vertical Greetings stamp set.
Thank you again for joining me this past week. Your comments always touch my heart. That's it for me today. I'll be back again tomorrow with a Wednesday Stamp Club card.
