What will I do as a demonstrator? You will share your love of creating hand stamped cards, scrapbook pages and gifts with family and friends. If you choose you will also help others enjoy the fun and flexibility of running their own Stampin' Up! business.
Will I receive support and training as a demonstrator? By joining my team my team you will become part of my downline and I will be here to assist and support you in any way I can. I believe that each demonstrator has her own dreams and desires for her time with Stampin' Up! I am here to fully support your dreams, desires and goals whether it is to support your own stamping addiction or to become the next Stampin' Up! super star!
I hold monthly get togethers for my downline where we learn a few techniques, talk about Stampin' Up promotions and events, and we celebrate the accomplishments of our team members. I have a downline blog that I post samples, tips and tricks to at least three times a week. I am always available for all my team members whether you live a block away or on the other side of the country. I will be here for you at all time, all you have to do is call or email me!
In addition to my support, Stampin' Up! provides dozens of training resources to help you run your business, including a fantastic monthly magazine, wonderful demonstrator support agents and an amazing demonstrator website full of samples, techniques and ideas for building your business.
How will I make money as a demonstrator? Since customers pay you directly you will keep 20% of each order placed at the time of their payment. You can earn additional money (5% to 20%) through monthly volume rebates when your monthly sales are $400.00 and above. In addition you can earn monthly downline overrides.
Do people really make money at this? YES!!!!!!! Depending on how much time you put into your business you can make whatever income you desire! You have a variety of ways to make an income you can hold workshops or you can charge for classes. You can even sell your hand stamped creations. The possibilities are endless!
Do I have to recruit other demonstrators? Of course not! Having a Downline is not a requirement, it is a perk! We have the opportunity to earn commission based on our downline’s sales
Do I have to stock product? No! You will only order items when someone places an order and pays you in advance, so you will not need to keep an inventory of products.
What are the minimum sales requirements? To stay as an active demonstrator you will need to sell $400.00 per quarter. Most demonstrators find that this goal can be met holding one or two workshops per quarter, or from their own purchases.
How much does it cost to get started? The Stampin’ Up! Starter Kit is $269.00. The Starter Kit contains everything you need to help you start your business including stamp sets, ink pads, cardstock, adhesives, stamping cleaning supplies and business supplies. The value of the stamping supplies alone is over $400.00!
What if I decide it’s not for me once I’ve started? Will I penalized if I quit? You simply stop placing orders. If you don’t meet the minimum requirement, Stampin’ Up! will just “drop” you – no penalties, no questions asked! But I guarantee that once you start, you won’t want to stop!
What kind of incentives will I receive as a demonstrator? There are so many perks of being a demonstrator! Here are a few of those offered by Stampin’ Up!
· The ability to earn hostess set and hostess merchandise on your own orders
· As a new demonstrator you will have the opportunity to earn up to 9 free stamp sets during your first 6 months for sales and recruiting
· You will receive 30% commission on your first order as a demonstrator if you place it within the first 60 days of signing up.
